An interesting concept from BFGoodrich
|
No fewer than 41 Spanish crews have entered the race to join the BFGoodrich Drivers' Team on the Principe de Asturias Rally.
This joint venture between BFGoodrich and Kronos Racing gives a variety of talented local drivers the chance to drive an official Peugeot Belgium 207 Super 2000 car on selected rounds of the IRC this year.
Candidates first have to put their names forward, and then the local media from the participating countries will be invited to vote at a secret ballot to decide which driver gets the drive.
“Yet again we've had a great response,” said BFGoodrich's Competitions Director Frederic Henry-Biabaud.
“I'm looking forward to find out who the chosen driver will be and how the Spanish rally fans take to the concept.”
The vote to decide the driver will take place on Friday September 5th, with the winners announced on the same day. The winning crew will then test the car on Monday September 8th near Bilbao.
